All this lawn mower needs is a “new” carburetor. But a new carburetor from Troy-bilt, is overpriced. I bought 2 different carbs for this mower but they need to be modified for the correct jet size. These aftermarket carbs are jetted way to high, and will reduce the life of the engine. I bought this mower back in 2018, and I changed the oil+filter every summer, except for last summer. In the pictures, you can see an extended piece of pipe coming from the engine oil drain. This mod makes it a whole lot easier, to change the oil. The only part missing is the back plastic cover that covered the engine. It broke off in 2019 iirc. But all the small parts are there, and the last battery that I bought in 2024, is still in great shape, and holds a charge. You can see that in the last pic, showing it at 100%. I’m selling this project, because I just don’t have the time that needs to be invested into this, as I’m trying to get my welding & steel fabrication business going.
