Gove County Medical Center (GCMC) is seeking a dedicated Patient Access Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a smooth and professional registration process.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Complete patient registrations by accurately entering demographic and insurance information.

·        Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients with the financial counselor as needed.

·        Assist with bedside registrations in the Emergency Department.

·        Operate the phone and paging system in a professional manner.

·        Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations.

Qualifications:

·         Required: High school diploma (or equivalent) and experience in public relations.

·         Preferred: Prior experience in a medical office setting.

·        Must be able to work independently, demonstrate personal integrity, and interact effectively with patients and staff.
