T&T Chemical is a family-owned agricultural retailer located in Quinter, Kansas (approximately 50 miles west of Hays). We provide crop protection products, fertilizer sales, agronomy services, and custom application to producers throughout Northwest Kansas.

We are a small business that values hard work, customer service, and teamwork. We work a little longer hours during our busy season (April through August) & an occasional weekend, we also place a strong emphasis on maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

We are currently looking to add an Agronomist to our team. The Agronomist will work directly with customers to provide crop consulting and agronomic recommendations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Scout fields for weeds, insects, and disease
• Collect soil samples and develop fertility recommendations
• Answer agronomy and crop production questions
• Recommend fertilizer and crop protection programs
• Coordinate custom application work
• Assist with chemical and fertilizer tendering
• Serve customers at the retail location
• Help with equipment and facility maintenance during slower periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Agriculture, agronomy, or related degree preferred (not required)
• Field scouting or crop consulting experience preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Passion for agriculture and helping growers succeed
• CDL and pesticide license are a plus (or willingness to obtain)
