This is a 1951 Delta 14” DP 220 that has been fully restored. By fully restored I mean that it and the motor were completely disassembled down to the smallest nut and bolt; then stripped to bare metal, primed, painted, new bearings everywhere, new wiring, new belt, etc. This thing looks and runs great. I restore old woodworking machines as a hobby and have done around 40 at this point with this being the third of this specific drill press I’ve completed. I kept one for my shop. It has a Rockwell 1/3 HP motor. Seriously, this thing is like new. Go check out a similar size DP at the local box store (or even at Grizzly.com) and compare price and quality. The similar Grizzly 14 inch model is going for $755 plus $200 freight.
It’s available in my shop until sold and you can come take it for a test drive if you’d like. I’m located in Manhattan, KS. Since we regularly visit grand kids in KC, I Typically I offer to transport items there for a committed buyer, but I have some back surgery coming up soon and won’t be able to lift. This means pick up only and bring some help.
