I have a very lucky boy that is finally looking for his forever family. He is 1 year old. He was on the euthanasia list in Wichita in April, but we pulled him at the last minute. He was surrendered due to a broken leg, but it has been amputated and he is getting around perfectly- stairs are no problem for him. His name was KJ, but I call him Kage, I just prefer shortened names but he answers to both. He's super sweet, a great snuggler, super playful and so much fun. He's a Belgian Malinois mix, last we checked he was 60lbs.  He loves tug of war and fetch, and would probably be best in a home without cats. He has only been around older kids to my knowledge (13+). He loves rope toys and hard chew toys (like the super chewer toys from BarkBox). He is beginning to enjoy regular plushy squeaky toys now too. When he's ready to play, he will bring you the toy he wants and hold it in your lap until you either grab for tug or war, or tell him drop and he sits for you to throw. He is very insistent when he wants to play, it's really super adorable. Kage is a lover, he really digs hugs and belly rubs. He is house trained, up to date on shots, chipped and neutered. He's great with other dogs of all sizes. He has not been around chickens. It destroys my soul that I can't keep him, but I know he has a lifelong family out there who will love him as much as I do. I will require a vet reference.
