Savage made this series of bolt action rifles from 1923 until the early 40s. Has the original magazine and feeds and shoots well. I have only shot my own handloads through it and it is decently accurate with the antique scope it has on it. There are Weaver side mounts which should fit the two mounting holes on the left side of the receiver or you could have it drilled and tapped for top mounts. The 1930s vintage externally adjusted Montgomery Wards scope on it does work, it adjusted and zeroed when I shot it. Someone removed the sites and filled the dovetails years ago. You don't see these real commonly and they are intersting and collectable.
