Rooks County Health Center is seeking a full-time Night Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) to join our dedicated laboratory team. What You'll Do
As a member of our laboratory team, you will:
- Perform waived, moderate, and high-complexity laboratory testing.
- Collect and process patient specimens, including phlebotomy.
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform quality control on laboratory equipment.
- Accurately analyze and report laboratory results while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Assist with blood bank, chemistry, hematology, and other routine laboratory procedures.
- Prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
- MLT or MT/MLS certification (or eligible under applicable CLIA requirements).
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Phlebotomy experience required.
- Previous clinical laboratory experience is preferred but qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply.
