Selling our Davis manufacturing horizontal directional driller converted to shallow water well drilling rig. Rebuilt and modified two years ago with a predator 459 cc main engine a predator 212 recirculating mud pump new hydraulic hoses, flow through aquatech swivel and schedule 40 galvanized drill stem. Includes about 70 ft stem with welded drilling collars, 2 sandpoints, original 10 ft pin drill stems. Three new jacks three (one front, 2 rear leveling /stabilizer jacks), assorted components includes bentonite and other drilling chemicals. Solar charge system and marine battery runs the 2500 lb winch with wireless and wired remotes. We mounted the mast vertically and installed a custom celler plate to make changing drill stems easier. One heat treated pilot bit, one heat treated reamer bit plus the original rock bit. New tires and hitch at time of rebuild. PVC mudlines and flex hose to drill head. Manual rigid crank for additional down pressure to get through rock and other dense materials. I might have a new shallow well above ground pump to go with it (I'll have to check).
The bad:
Rig currently needs a new hydraulic pump installed but a brand new unit is included, I just haven't had time to install it. Main engine is electric start and runs off of solar battery system but electric switch doesn't work. Recoil starts every time on first or second pull. No trailer lights. One valve on mudlines is missing handle. Gearbox leaks oil, I have cornhead grease to convert or just fill it before drilling.
Works great for shallow irrigation wells for lawn and garden. We had a lot of fun with it but no longer have a need. I have almost 1k in hoses alone and don't have to sell, cash only, trades considered for guns/ammo/silver or?
Check my other listings, I have an 08 Kodiak that pairs great with this rig :) be more than happy to do a package deal
