Glassman Corporation is seeking an additional team member to be a part of our warehouse department.  We are now accepting applications for a Purchasing Clerk.

• Compensation: Hourly + Benefits. Pay Rate based upon experience.

This role is responsible for supporting purchasing, coordinating, and supply chain functions to successfully support our projects and warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely ordering and delivery by collaborating with Warehouse, Sales, Service, and Project Managers on schedules and lead times.
• Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to meet project demand, maximize cash flow, minimize obsolete stock, and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Vendor Relations: Maintain strong supplier partnerships and negotiate favorable pricing and terms to maximize gross margins without sacrificing project quality.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a Purchasing, Supply Chain, Warehouse, or Inventory role.
• Proven ability to manage on-time order fulfillment.
• Self starter with ability to prioritize tasks and work independent of direct supervision. 
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong vendor relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Effective planning skills to forecast lead times, and product needs.
• Strong attention to detail
• A positive attitude.
• Microsoft Office and Outlook experience is necessary.
