It gets a full fluid and filter service every single spring, and I blow out the debris and clean the air filter after every single mowing.

It handles my 1.5-acre yard weekly with ease, cuts good, has zero leaks, and runs strong. It uses a normal amount of oil over the season, as these engines do, but never drops below safe levels. It is 100% ready to finish out the rest of this mowing season.

Important Details:

• Electrical Update: When I purchased it, the previous owner had damaged the flywheel and messed up the wiring. I completely repaired the wiring harness, fixed the fuse block, and replaced the flywheel and starter to factory specs.

• Battery Note: Brand new battery just purchased and installed in mid-July. Ever since repairing the electrical system, the onboard charging system doesn’t fully top off the battery while running. The battery holds plenty of juice to let you mow a large yard 3 to 4 times easily. I simply pop it on a trickle charger between every few mows, and it has never been an issue.
