Description
This is one of the final few examples manufactured of this model before the company pivoted fully into WWII production of the trench guns. i'ts the same gun, just chop the barrel, add heat shield and bayonet lug. from 1927 through 1942 they produced 30,000 of these shotguns for the civilian market before WWII took over, and this one's serial is 29875, so it was most likely produced in 1942.
This is a takedown model, meaning it can be easily split into two pieces, it's also capable of slam-fire, just like the trench guns. a very nice peice of history here.
needs a good deep cleaning, wood is in good shape, butt-pad could use replacing. Pickup is in Wichita.
