We’re looking to add a full-time farm mechanic to our operation.

Ideally, we’d like to find someone with John Deere/mechanic experience, but we’re open to someone who is mechanically skilled, dependable, and comfortable working on a wide variety of equipment.

You’d be responsible for repairs, maintenance, preseason preparation, troubleshooting, and rebuilds on equipment including:

• Combines: 9770

 • Tractors: 8370R, 8320

 • Planters: 1775NT

 • Air seeders: 1890

 • Sprayers: 4830

 • Loaders & skid steers: 444K, 320

 • Semi trucks & trailers: Freightliner ++

 • Pickups & vehicles

 • ATVs/UTVs: Polaris

 • Tillage equipment

 • Mowers

We handle most work in-house, but major engine and transmission overhauls are sent out.

The biggest thing we can offer is flexibility.

Ideally, we’d like someone to mechanic 4 days a week, leaving 3 days to work on their own farm/ranch, custom work or other projects.

If you’re looking for more hours, that works too. 

For someone interested in additional hours, this position could develop into a combination mechanic/sprayer operator, equipment operator, feed truck operator, grain trucker or even a mechanic/cattle hand role, depending on your interest. 

When caught up on mechanic work, there would also be opportunities to help with harvest, spraying, feeding cattle, grain handling, working cattle, and general farm operations if interested. 

This could be a great fit for a John Deere or other dealership technician who wants out of the dealership environment, or someone with their own farm/ranch who wants steady income without giving up the flexibility to operate their own place.

Hourly pay based on experience and ability.
