Heavy-Duty Construction

This is an older, heavily built oilfield float with substantially heavier structural construction than a typical general-purpose equipment trailer.

The main longitudinal frame members are large fabricated I-beam structures, with substantial crossmembers and a heavy rear roller assembly. The trailer was designed for the transportation and loading of heavy oilfield equipment rather than ordinary highway freight.

The large rear roller is particularly useful when loading skidded equipment from ground level and was a common feature on oilfield equipment floats of this type.

The trailer has an exceptionally heavy structural frame, three dual-tire axles and a large oilfield loading roller.
