The calf catcher protects farmers from aggressive cows while treating their calves. It's 8' long by 6' wide by 6' high and will hook behind any ATV. Simply open the door and drop the latch to hold the door open, drive the calf catcher over the calf, pull the lever to close the door, and enter the walk-in gate to treat the calf. The gate lever can be accessed while you are still seated on the ATV. Even if the calf is running, you can still catch it without any problems, which sometimes is fairly fun.

The calf catcher also works great for transporting sick calves. There is an elevated calf-carrying compartment within the calf catcher. Just open the door, place the calf inside, and you can haul the calf wherever you want. Most of the time the cow will follow you if it can see its calf, so you can bring both of them. The calf compartment has a gate in the back as well so you can release the calf without entering the calf catcher.

My dad and my uncle have been using the calf catcher for several years and have never had any problems with it. It's a much safer way to treat newborn calves, and it's a lot of fun.
