High Plains Mental Health Center is looking for PRN Recovery Workers at the Schwaller Crisis Center in Hays.
New employees will receive a $325 sign-on bonus following successful completion of their 90 day orientation period.
The Schwaller Crisis Center is a 24-hour crisis stabilization program. This program provides round the clock supervision in a home-like setting to provide relief during mental health crisis. It is entirely voluntary and is not hospitalization. Since the facility is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, a variety of shifts are available. PRN or “when needed” status allows for flexible scheduling that easily works around a school or second employment schedule.
Recovery Workers are front line workers who help patients and their families deal with the everyday challenges of living with a mental health diagnosis. Our goal is to help our clients reduce their symptoms and improve their independent functioning at home, school, work, and in the community, and Recovery Workers are a major part of that effort.
