The Washburn G-JRV would make an excellent starter guitar. The Stamplate  is Buffalo Grove IL SN 7120107. Made in Korea.  It's a crackin' guitar, I think made about 1980 and is in full working order and ready to rock! - cosmetically it's seen a bit of rock 'n' roll as it's got a few scratches/marksbut nothing that affects playability - no playing issues with this guitar the frets have some but not excessive wear.It's missing the tip from the 5 way pickup switch.

Comes with gig bag style looking hard case.
