1907 Farm House to be Moved—located south of Western, NE (north of Fairbury, NE).   This is a 1 ½ story farm house which I was told was built in 1907.  It has a kitchen and bathroom built on in 1945 with hand made kitchen cabinets.  House was re-plastered in 1944, with the exception of 1 upstairs bedroom (which is now panelled) and hallway.   Plaster is in pretty good shape for its age.  House has a metal roof put on in about 2004.  Was repainted in 2013.  House is in pretty good condition and was lived in until the flood on May 7th damaged the cellar walls, filling the cellar to the top, taking out the electrical wiring in the cellar, water well, furnace, and air conditioning.   There had not ever been flood water on the yard until May 7th from the time the house was built until now.  There is NO structural damage and very little cosmetic damage to the house.  Water did NOT get on the floor of the house, but did touch the floor joists for a short time.   House measures 30 x 30, not counting the enclosed back porch and enclosed back deck, which were added later.  Kitchen is 10’ x 12’, Bathroom is 9 ½’ x 5’, Dining Room / TV room off of Kitchen is 15’ x 15 ½ ‘, Living Room is 14 ½’ x 15’, and Downstairs Bedroom is 10’ x 12’.   There are 3 upstairs bedrooms, with the largest one being 15 x 15 ½’.  House is insulated with blown in insulation and has Wilber Window inserts in 6 of the windows.  Note:  I turned the electricity back on 2 weeks ago and everything works.   Call me if you are interested.    785-738-7936.
