• Is Chief Accountant for Larned State Hospital. 
• Obtain and manage resources to operate the hospital through participation in the year-round budgetary process. 
• Manage funds through internal controls and financial analysis. 
• Report on fiscal performance of the agency, programs, and departments; provide weekly updates to supervisor.
• Lead the accounts payable function of the Accounting Department.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting to supervisor.

Preferred Education or Experience:  Prefer Masters Degree in Accounting or Business Administration and/or Certified Public Accountant or three years of experience in professional accounting/auditing work. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
