2007 reining trained mare for sale, 14.3 hands. We bought this mare in April of '15 from a trainer in Arkansas. We never rode her in person; I bought her based on a reining video the trainer posted on youtube that has since been deleted. She spins decent, but she needs work on flying lead changes. Last year my daughter qualified for state fair in halter, horsemanship, English eq., HUS, and hunter over fences. We did not go due to schedule conflicts. This year they qualified in halter, English pleasure, and horsemanship. She placed 8th at the state fair in halter but didn't place in the other 2 classes. Some of you may recognize this mare from my 'for sale' post last year. We listed her for sale because she and my daughter have conflicting personalities, but we had decided to keep her because she is so versatile. Now my daughter has decided she's not showing 4-H anymore and wants to focus on barrel racing and breakaway roping. In addition to reining maneuvers and riding English this mare will carry a flag, go over jumps, has good simple lead changes, and crosses water with no hesitation. Nothing fancy in her bloodlines, but she has some good foundation. Video links are below.
