Valley Hope Association is looking for a highly motivated and self-directed individual to fill the Human Resource Manager position for the Corporate Office in Norton, KS.  This position requires three years human resource experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource or other related field. Extensive experience in human resource leadership role may substitute for Bachelor’s degree requirement. 

 

The Human Resource Manager will be expected to:

·         Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws.

·         Assist facility and corporate management with recruiting for qualified candidates for open positions.

·         Provide support to management on issues of employee performance, development, and discipline.

·         Assist with the implementation and interpretation of VHA policies and procedures.

·         Ensure that corporate-wide payroll is processed and that all Valley Hope employees are paid timely and accurately.

·         Ensure accurate and timely processing of all payroll-related paperwork including new hires, terminations, retirements, and position/salary changes are performed.

·         Secure and accurately maintain all computer and hard copy payroll records.

·         Maintain a precise working knowledge of all VHA benefit program, including, but not limited to, PTO, holidays, health insurance, disability, and workers compensation insurance.

·         Ensure that there is correct and timely processing of all salary and tax reports as required by local, state, and government entities.

·         Ensure that all HR general ledger accounts are accurate and in balance.

·         Monitor and maintain human resource system to comply with organization objectives

 

This is an exempt position with an annual starting salary ranging from $40,000 to $60,000 depending on education, credentials and experience.  In addition to the salary package, there is also an outstanding and highly competitive benefits package.  The benefits package includes: a portion of health insurance, life insurance, excellent retirement, tuition reimbursement, generous paid time off and much more.
