I have a 18 month old male Jagd Terrier tracking dog. He is a half sibling to my main tracking dog. I'm downsizing to one dog and she is finished and 3 years old so she stays and he goes. . This dogs adult weight will be around 15 pounds and is used for baying hogs, catching badgers, Coon hunting etc. A terrier is a geinous dog and these are elite. The dogs name is Diesel and he is currently trained in tracking scent not blood. He has been on around 100 lines but not in the field on a solo track. He will solo track lines I lay and most lines have at least two 90* turns and only uses deer hide again no blood. They track in scent so when youndont have a pass through and run out of blood your dog finishes the track. As a matter of fact the dog will track s human if you put him on the right scent to start the track. If you purchase this dog or want to see him on a line that is fine. I will show you how to read the dog so you can tell if you are on track or not. These breeds of dogs are not akc registered because they are imports. There is paperwork from the Dominican Republic that will go with the dog and you can register it there by transferring into your name. This dog is bout house trained.
