PSI Transport in Hoxie, KS is looking for good, dependable employees to fill a couple of positions. We are a transportation company servicing 5 area feedyards. We have 22 tucks and 50 trailers in our fleet. Besides the transportation business, we also manage a dry corn grain facility.

Maintenance Foreman:

This would be a great position for someone who is well organized and a self-starter. We need somone that can take care of many of our maintenance issues around our shops, yard, and bin site. Another task would be to organize and take inventory of our truck parts, as well as some ordering of parts from time to time. Helping with the management of our corn inventory and of course helping to keep everything running well during fall harvest. There are many other tasks that will come up throughout the year. Skills that would benefit this applicant would be: highly organized, self-starter, Class A CDL, welding, light mechanical skills and spread sheet knowledge are all a plus.

Mechanic:

It's important that the shop is capable of completing everything from overhauls to tire work. Much of what we do in the shop is routine maintenance (tires, brakes, services). From time to time we take on after-treatment and engine work. Basic computer skills for diagnostics is required. Besides our truck and trailer fleet, you will be asked to work on some of our 23 owner-operators equipment now and again, as well as feedyard equipment. Mechanics are expected to have their own hand tools, but PSI will provide all major equipment. CDL is a plus but not required. I would be willing to help applicant obtain their CDL. Welding skills, specifically aluminum welding skills would be a major benefit to PSI.

Standard hours of operation are 7am - 5pm Monday - Friday and Saturday 8am - 12pm. You will not be limited on hours. There is always work to be done. You may be asked to stay late or go on service calls from time to time. Very flexible.
