The Animal Hospital is looking for a part-time kennel assistant to complete our talented team. This person needs to be organized, dependable and dedicated to the services we provide.  Our new team member must take pride and ownership of their job. We strive to treat our boarding patients with compassion and respect as if they were our own pets.

Qualifications:

-No past experience required but preferred.

-Must be a fast learner with a positive attitude

-Must be able to take instructions and carry out tasks in a detailed fashion

-Must be a trustworthy team player

-Must be able to lift 35lbs and manage large patients

Duties include:

-Walking kenneled patients

-Meeting the general needs of the patients: medicating, feeding, bathing etc..

-Cleaning kennels

-General cleaning of the clinic

-Assisting doctors and technicians

-Stocking

Job Type: Part-time

Will include some holidays and weekends. Schedules vary with shifts ranging from 2-5 hours starting at either 8AM or 4PM.
