Styles Dance Centre is seeking a long term, part time Ballet Instructor to work 10-15 hours a week. The right person is enthusiastic, passionate about developing technique and artistry in their students, enjoys working with children, knows how to motivate while being patient and an excellent leader. They will not only love to teach ballet but serve as a positive role model to their students.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Dance or equivalent experience

• Previous ballet instruction experience

• Able to teach ballet for intermediate and advanced level classes ranging in ages 4-18 years old, including pointe work and variations

• Understanding of safe ballet instruction

• Continued learning of new developments in ballet education

• Help each student understand how to best work with their body

• Creative, dependable, punctual, and friendly with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills

• Evening availability

• First aid/safety training a plus
