Of course they all have problems:

1.       Power steering gearbox seal seeps (too expensive to replace), My mechanic recommended I just keep the fluid topped off with Lucas Power Steering stop leak.

2.       Drivers Heated Seat doesn’t work. Non-repairable.

3.       It sometimes cranks for an extended period when starting, has done this since I’ve owned it, have never figured out why, never left me stranded.

4.       Don’t turn the heater to full hot, hard to get unstuck. 3/4 hot will still heat you up quickly.

5.       It was a farm truck before I bought it. Has a few minor hail dings, wear & tear dings & scratches. Left cab corner has a small pocket of rust, right lower side starting to show signs of rust.

The 2001 Silverado 1500 LS I sold to buy this truck only had 242,XXX miles on it, and as far as I know it’s still running around. These trucks will last & this one has been well maintained.
