27 Red Angus 4yr old cows ($1700):  Very pleased with this group since we got them.  Several big and fancy ones to choose from along with moderate framed ones who kick out just as good of a calf.  Our buckskin calves grow consistently and do great in the lot. 

Cows are set to calve the first week of March and into April.  Sired by 2 Hubert Charolais Bulls and 2 home raised Angus Bulls.  We split the herd into 3 groups this breeding season for 21 days.  Then, the whole herd finished two more cycles with all 4 herd bulls.  Breeding groups, Vet pregging records, and herd health program available upon request. 

Calves were weaned November 11th and are being backgrounded at the farm.  If you’d like to see them I can make it possible.  Cows are currently on stalks and will remain until February 15th. 

We are very satisfied with our commercial herd and our 2019 calf crop.  In 2018 we decided we’d turn out our Hubert Charolais bulls for the first cycle and ended up having 65% of our herd throw Charolais calves in the first 21 days of 2019’s calving season.  Calves look extremely consistent and the cows are bred back to the same bulls. 

Pictures of calves are the ones that we weaned on November 11th.  Calves still on hand to view.  Cows on corn stalks.  We can run cows on corn stalks until February 15th. 

***Stock rent is included in the price until February 15, 2020.  If  I have to feed because of bad weather, I will charge $1.50 per head per day.  The cost of putting out salt, mineral and protein will be yours after we make a deal.***
