If you are a homesteader or someone who understands the value of knowing what's in your milk, this pair of Jersey calves would be a great start to your own milking herd.  We selected this pair because of their ability to breed with one another. 

"Buddy" - pictures 1 and 2 - will be 2 years old in late April.  His is very mild mannered and easy to work with. 

"Annie" - pictures 3 and 4 - just turned one in December and is very sweet as well.  

Both of them were raised on a bottle and fed by our teenage daughers so they got a lot of extra people attention.  We hand milk all our small herd of Jersey and Gurnsey cows so our entire herd has human touch nearly every day.  We name each of them and they know their names.  They get a lot of personal human interaction. 

They have never been grain fed - only grass and alfalfa.  They are both healthy and well cared for.  They are sheltered in our barn and have access to pasture year round. They are small right now because we don't grain them but they will mature out to a normal Jersey size - cow about 650 lbs., bull about 1000 lbs.
