Lifetime Dental Care is a full-service dental practice standing for Complete Health of our patients through the most thorough care available and with a team that seeks to empower our patients and their families, coworkers, and friends.  We are growing and hiring for a newly created position of an Insurance and Recare Coordinator who is confident and committed to serving and connecting with their patients.  If you have refined and are looking to share your interpersonal, customer service and organizational skillset and value integrity, this could be a perfect fit for you!

You will be accountable for:

·         Establishing, achieving, and maintaining the integrity of insurance claims and patient investments within the practice.

·         Maintaining communication with both patients and insurance carriers regarding claims and balances.

·         Maintaining patient records, referrals, and requests.

·         Managing patient retention by communicating with patients and team and updating the patient communication software. 

·         Assisting the Appointment Coordinator and Treatment Coordinator as necessary.

·         Working cooperatively with the Appointment and Treatment Coordinator to maintain daily production of both the Doctor and Hygiene schedules while ensuring financial arrangements that do not compromise the financial goals of the practice.

·         Completing End of Day procedures.

Work Environment: The job operates in a medical/clinical environment, which will require HIPPA training.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

Physical Demands: The employee is frequently required to talk and hear; sit for long periods of time. 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to blood and blood-borne pathogens and/or physical risks, which will require OSHA training.

Position type and expected hours:  This is a full-time position.  Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.  Occasionally work is expected outside of these hours, for example continuing education and to meet minimum working days, etc.

Travel: Travel is expected for this position on a limited basis. 

Required Education and Experience:

·         2 plus years of full-time customer service, administrative, or financial experience

·         Experience with telephone, computers, office equipment

·         High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Preferred Education and Experience:

·         Experience with Dental and Medical insurance claims process

·         Knowledge and understanding of dental procedures, terminology and techniques

·         Knowledge and understanding of Eaglesoft Practice Management Software and Microsoft Word and Excel
