Description

Day & Night shift available.  The Administrative Assistant positions in the call center are responsible for staffing coverage and communication to all Nursing personnel.  Receives and manages Nursing staff call-ins and ensures adequate unit coverage is maintained.  Manages Nursing Hold over List to ensure adequate unit coverage is maintained.  Reviews and approves need for all overtime, rearranging staff time to avoid accumulation of over time.  Serves as Nursing Dept. liaison for return to work meetings to ensure any changes in work status (e.g. restrictions, etc.) are accommodated into scheduling.  Monitors staff for issues of time abuse and brings to attention of appropriate Unit Leader, Director of Nursing, and Program Director. Coordinates travel arrangements for discharges and off-campus appointment. Coordinates coverage for 1:1 patient care at the hospital. 

Minimum Qualifications:  Six months of experience in general office, clerical and administrative support work. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.

Preferred Education or Experience:  1 year of experience creating and maintaining work schedule.
