This Dietitian II position exists to assist in the provision of nutritional care for Larned State Hospital.  The Food Service Program is designed to meet nutritional requirements for patient populations.  Duties will include: performs nutritional assessment of individual patients/clients; designs and implements nutritional care plans as indicated by patient health status;  documents nutritional assessment and interventions; monitors patients food and/or nutrient intake and evaluate effectiveness of nutritional care plan.  Participates in patient care team meetings or conferences. Interprets and incorporates new scientific knowledge into practice.

Minimum Qualifications:   Registered as a Dietitian by the American Dietetic Association and licensed in accordance with (KSA 65-5906) at time of hire.

Preferred Education or Experience:  Three (3) years experience as a dietician in a large-scale setting.
