I am selling my scrap iron trailer due to breaking my back and ankle as well as other health concerns that are forcing me to retire after 30+ years of business. This trailer is a 1989 Great Dane 48 foot long flat trailer that has been converted into a scrap iron trailer in August of 2011. The trailer now has 5’ tall walls made of 3/16” steel and a ¼” thick steel floor. It also has a swing open tailgate with mesh openings so you can see the trailer contents without climbing over the walls. All of the lights work as they should. The brakes are also in proper operational condition. Trailer has sound tires that will pass inspection. This is a solid and straight trailer that has lots of life left in it. It pulls down the road well and when empty and hooked to a 2005 Kenworth T600 it weighs 43,000 lbs. Trailer has and will pass inspections (as shown in the picture with the sticker on the trailer side). Load of iron in picture can be included if asking price is paid; get some of your investment back immediately!
