I know this book has value - so I would accept any reasonable offer.

This is a hardback book with a dustcover that is covered in a protective clear plastic and has a black tape line along top and botom of cover.  The jacket was taped to the book, so shows yellow marks from the old tape.  The pages are clean and in very good condition.  It was printed in 1952, but doesn't state that it was a first printing.  From the research it could be a first printing, but I'm not sure.  It has the word "bite" instead of "bight" on page 281 and some of what I have read it states this was in the first printing of the book.  The back of the book contains reviews instead of Steinbeck's picture as I saw on some of the books.
