From the back of the plate:
"Plate Number 11399B in a limited edition of "Promenade à Paris" the second plate in the Rockwell on Tour set, which uniquely preserves the private postcards hand-colored by Norman Rockwell and sent only to his personal friends during his European tour taken in the summer of 1927. Produced in an edition limited to 150 firing days and authenticated by the Rockwell Society of America. Bradex Number: 84-R70-5.2."
This collector plate is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The plate measures 7.75" in diameter and stands .875" high, from the table to the lip of the plate, when lying flat. It comes with the original box, Rockwell on Tour booklet, and the Title of Ownership and Negotiable Transfer.
These plates are not what one thinks of when thinking of Norman Rockwell art. These have a comic character to them, but Rockwell's quirky sense of humor shines through.
Please note: This plate is NOT for use with food because of metal pigments used for color fidelity.
