The house doesn't have any plumbing in it. We had always used it as a weekend getaway / hunting lodge. The rural water runs by the front of the house, so if you wanted to install plumbing and build an addition for a bathroom, it could be done. My neighbor next door has a water well, so I'm sure you could probably drill a well too. We just really never had a need for it. The walls aren't insulated , but the rocks are 24" to 30" wide. A window air-conditioner cools the place and an electric heater warms it up. The property taxes run about $50.00 a year. The house is in great shape. Give me a call if you'd like to check it out.
