Wanted Farm/Ranch hand -Wilson Angus- (posting this for my parents)

1-2  job openings -looking for 1-2 full-time farm/ranch hands

Dry land crops -corn, wheat, milo, beans, silage, alfalfa, straw, brome, crp, grinding grain/hay YOU WILL BE DRIVING OLDER TANDOM TRUCKS, BALING, SWATHING, CUTTING ALFALFA/HAY, MAYBE PLANTING.

400 head Reg. Black Angus (breed for breeding and show stock) & 40 of Longhorn/Correnttie cattle (breed for roping) -cavling, tagging, shots, salt/mineral, check/count, running the feed wagon, a loader tractors, 4-wheelers MUST HAVE BASIC EXPERIENCE HANDLING/CARE FOR CATTLE, LOW STRESS!

***Horses are for one person*** if more hands have the experience great, if not not a big deal because the other guys won't be handling them very much at all. 52 horses (APHA, Pinto, AQHA, TB/JC) -hand/pasture breed, stall foal, halter break, break to ride (promote more for barrels, team roping, ranch/family horse, but do have two race horses and one show stud) 1 worker -MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN BREAKING/TRAINING HORSES! (Horse work will probly be after all other work is done.) Maybe the end of the day, seasonal, or a few and far inbetween kind of thing more than likely, because there is so much other stuff to get done before, of more importance than the horses. Horses don't pay the farm bills, crops and cattle do. Note: We just won the 2013 overall supreme ranch horse at the Cattlemen's Classic in Kearney, NE. -If we use horses and your on the clock, you use our horses. (we currently have one rider)

Fencing dealing with older fence, putting up hot wire, spraying thisels, hand breaking frozen ponds with an axe, hauling water, draining hoses, welding, mechanic fix/work on/up keep.

MUST KNOW HOW TO READ, WRITE, and  SPEAK ENGLISH!

NON-SMOKER, NO DRUGS!  Right reserved to ask to test. Prefer non-drinker  -Needs a clean record.

 NEEDS TO BE OVER 25yrs. OLD, WITH CLEAN DRIVING RECORD, AND HAVE THEIR OWN RELIBLE TRANSPORTATION TO GET TO WORK. -this due to our vehical insurance restrictions

NEEDS TO HAVE STRONG WORK ETHIC!! BE RELIABLE, RESPONSIBLE, HONEST, ABLE TO WORK ALONE OR IN GROUP. Not to many days off, or sick days. We work in ALL weather types, ALL day. The livestock chorses and crop harvest have to be done one way or the other. If you are expected to be at work, we need you there, everyone one relays on everyone to do there own normal chorses to keep everything on schedule and run smoother.

MUST HAVE REFERENCES!!!!  preferred from past work experience.

Smaller 2 (3?) bedroom house, untilites provied, basically fully furnished. Located a mile from work. If everyone can get along we have used the house as a buck house for single guys. ONLY outside pets, there is a dog house and small kennel located at the house. Dogs are NOT allowed to come to work with you! Wage is by the hour, and depends on experience. There is a cat at the house we expect you to chore for, he stays with the house to keep the mice killed around the house, and does a good job at it....HE STAYS OUTSIDE!! Also, please note the current hand is living in this house he is younger but a good kid!! He was use to sharing the house with our last hired hand who was in his 40's using the house as a bunk house.
