1979 Ford F150 4x4, C6 automatic transmission, 400 V8 (6.6L), Ford 9" rearend, Dana 44 front axle with warren locking hubs, NP203 transfercase, almost new 31" BFG mud terrian tires, and many other new parts. The engine turns and will start but very rough. It has low compression and the test was follows 1- 140 / 2- 10 / 3- 130 / 4- 45 / 5- 95 / 6- 150 / 7- 110 / 8-150. (will need head work or possible bottom end work)
The truck has some of the normal rust areas for these years. Both lower cab corners, top of the rear wheel wells, and the back passanger lower quarter on the bed. There is a small 2"x2" ish area on the passenger side floor that could be replaced as well if you are wanting to do the metal work. There are a few spots that someone in the past has put bondo and its starting to crack.
The interior is all there just needs to be replaced if you are wanting to restore it any. both door panels are cracked really bad, the dash pad is cracked and it could use a new head liner. the seat looks to be in pretty good condition and would probably be okay with a new seat cover but will need all new carpet.
the frame and suspension look to be in good contidion and could make for a great project or parts truck. I have some additional parts that could go with the truck if the offer is right. Wanting to sell quick to finish another project.
