2 Pirate Flintlock Pistols Dated 1822 & 1853
Description
I have two of these "Piarte" Flintlock Style Pistols, one is dated 1822, the other is dated 1853. The 1853 has a fint symbol of what appears to be a Lion on it. Both will lock back and "fire" when the trigger is pulled. (obviously i have never tried to actually shoot these things, the term fire simply mean the hammer will drop). I know they came to the us many years ago from a War Veteran who was stationed overseas and i have had them for nearly 20 years...other than that, i dont know anything about them. I have seen "guns" that look like this sell for $200...i have seen them sell for $2000. I don't know the history of them or anything about them at all, they have been wall art for me...
