Looking to sell my 1972 Chevy C-10. It has a 402 SS Big Block and a recently rebuilt TH400 Auto tranny. I haven't had the truck to long, was planning on making it some sort of a drag truck but I live in the country and need a 4x4 for the snow and mud that piles up on my streets. Truck hasnt been drivin hard at all and runs very good. The body itself isn't in great shape. Has rust in different spots but that was another reason why I got it because I was intending to make it a sleeper. It also has a very nice patina. Interiour needa a little work also but will be doing that here shortly. Other than that the truck runs perfect and has a lot of work in her. It would easily give a 5.0 Mustang a run for it's money that's for sure!! Things that have been done to it are:
- 4 barrel Edelbrock Carb, Edelbrock performance 2.0 intake, Edelbrock fuel pump, and K and N filter.
- All MSD Ignitions including MSD distributor
- Mild Cam
- True dual exhaust system that sounds great! Hooker headers, x pipe for better flow, and dual super 40 Flowmaster mufflers.
- Thick radial tires still have 90% tread left
- Truck never over heats and runs and drives perfect. Great daily driver for street and highway!
I bought the truck thinking the motor came out of a Chevelle SS but later found out its the original block from 1972 which makes the truck rare and worth a pretty penny. Looked it up and numbers match. Would consider a trade for a 4x4 but must be a Chevy or GMC. Need truck gone so shoot me an offer!
