The City of Great Bend is accepting applications for the position of Firefighter-EMT, or Paramedic.  Primary responsibilities will include fire protection and EMS response/transport.  This position requires a thorough knowledge of the operation and maintenance of equipment and principles of Fire Science, EMS and department operations.  Applicant must possess a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age. Applicant must possess a valid Kansas driver's license and EMT certification prior to hire.  We will accept the C.P.A.T. or applicant will be required to take the in-house physical agility and Fire Team testing.
