Description
I have 25 2nd cutting and 43 3rd cutting Non-GMO, 4x6 net wrapped round bales. Hay was sprayed for weevil in 1st cutting but not 2nd. Baled with JD 468. (5 sold)
2nd cutting: It was cut in early bloom with few weeds. We received @ 50/100 rain on windrows. Hay maintained leaves and baled nicely.
The moisture of hay at time of baling ranged from 13-22. I baled in the early evening so the moisture increased as time passed. The hay was brittle prior to evening of baling.
3rd cutting: Also cut in early bloom. Very little pigweed and grass. Most baled at 17-22 moisture.
Price now at $160 a bale. They weigh @ #1200.
