WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?:  Just mostly need some peace and quiet. 3 - 10 acres maybe. Old Homestead would work pretty good for us. Trees and some varied elevation are somewhat important. We are NOT LOOKING TO HUNT but if the property has good game then we will sit on the porch and watch nature walk by.  Hunting simply is not our thing.

CONDITION:   Does the old house need a remodel or upgrading? We can do that! A shop/barn/support building of some sort is very helpful in these situations so that would be a good selling point. Home and property does not need to be move-in ready but something completely gutted/abandoned and neglected for 40 years may or may not work for us. We would need to look and make those decisions at that time.

LOCATION: Pretty much anywhere East of Offerle KS or even into Northern Oklahoma. Looking to stay a bit away from large cities but outside the city limits of any small country type town is certainly fine. No high traffic RR tracks within a mile or so. Nothing close to a major highway or airport. Property DOES NOT need to have good access. We have the equipment to grade and/or build a driveway or access road and maintain those when required. OFF GRID MIGHT EVEN WORK.

PRICE: Millions of $$ does not work but purchase price depends on what you have. Tell me what you have and let's see what happens. $200,000 can be a good talking point for us.

If you have something or maybe know of someone who does then we would like to speak with you. Don't forget that if you have an aging family member then some of those folks want to move into a town and we want out of one so that opens up some trade options.

Of course we are looking at the online realtor listings but would like to expand our discovery options whenever - wherever possible. We feel we are looking for our last home and a place to call home. Can you help us find one?
