RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Triage, rapid assessment, and intervention for trauma, medical, and behavioral health emergencies.

·         Collaborate with emergency providers, specialists, and fellow nurses in a fast-paced environment.

·         Manage critical care interventions including IV meds, telemetry, and patient transport.

·         Communicate clearly with patients and families – sometimes in their scariest moments.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

·         Current Registered Nurse Licensure in the State of Kansas

·         1 year of experience in ER or Acute Care referred (new grads with internship/clinical ER exposure welcome).

·         Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC must be obtained.

·         Ability to read and communicate effectively, with strong written and verbal skills.

·         Intermediate computer knowledge with the ability to learn systems used.
