McCarty Family Farms is seeking an experienced Full Time Crop Farm Manager based in Colby, Kansas to lead our crop planning, field operations, and harvest execution. This role will oversee water and nutrient management, seed and input purchasing, crop budgeting, and building strong relationships with growers and custom farm partners. You’ll also manage and develop a team to ensure efficient, safe, and successful farm operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage water, nutrient, and crop planning programs
• Coordinate planting and harvest operations
• Oversee seed and input purchasing
• Maintain crop budgets and acreage planning
• Build strong grower and custom farmer relationships
• Lead and develop farm employees
• Perform other related duties as this position evolves

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Experience in crop production or farm operations
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to lead teams and collaborate with growers
• Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with the ability to multi-task
• Exemplary judgement and discretion
• Great communication skills, self-starter, and independent
