Midnight is a 20+ year old black mare. Bought her out of an auction last year so don’t know much about her history. She is gaited! Absolutely NO buck, rear, bite, kick or anything like that. Not spooky. Have trail rode her mostly and she prefers to walk (will trot or lope if asked) but she walks very fast. A little too intimidating for my 8 year old daughter. She plow reins but has a good stop and listens well. She enjoys going out with other horses and for her age can keep right up or out walk the others. She ties like a champ and never pulls back, jumps right in a trailer, bathes, etc. 
Cons: She is a bit pushy on the ground and doesn’t always stand still to tack and mount, but nothing bad. She also will not pick up her back feet, but seems to wear them fine where they are not needing a trim. 
She’s around 14.3 hands but not that thick, so I would suggest 150 pound rider or less. Gets along well in a mixed herd. Current Coggins, shots, dewormed, teeth floated.
