Description

This is a 3 coin consecutive year set of Braided Hair Large Cents from 1842, 1843, and 1844. These coins are ideal for collectors building a type set, a date run, or looking for affordable mid 19th century U.S. copper with strong historical appeal.

•    1842 Braided Hair Cent — AG 3 -- Clear date, full rims in places, heavy wear consistent with About Good. A solid, problem free filler for the series.
•    1843 Braided Hair Cent — F 15  --  Strong date, visible hair detail, separated stars, and a well defined wreath. A pleasing Fine example with above average eye appeal for the grade.
•    1844 Braided Hair Cent — AG 3 -- Readable date, outline of Liberty visible, reverse lettering clear. Honest circulation wear with no major issues.
