Lucy is a 6-year-old Australian Shepherd in need of a new home. She is spayed and house trained. She is active, loves to run, enjoys playing in water, and is always up for an adventure. Lucy is very loyal to her people and does great on car rides.
She is a good dog, but she would do best in a home without small children. Lucy has strong natural herding instincts, and when children are running, yelling, or creating a lot of activity, she may try to herd them by nipping or growling. Because of this, we feel she would be happiest in a calmer home with adults or older children who understand her breed and needs.
