The Kansas Department of Transportation is seeking a dependable, organized professional to play a key role in supporting our District's inventory and storekeeping operations.
KDOT is currently hiring a Storekeeper Specialist for the District Three Office in Norton, Kansas.
Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Evaluates storage capabilities, usage, and demand in order to maintain inventory stock levels within budget limitations.
- Fills orders from areas, issues materials, prepares goods for transfer or shipping, loads area trucks, and keys transfers in KANAM.
- Responsible for the loading and unloading of large freight shipments for warehousing and for distribution to Area supply points.
- Communicates frequently with all levels of supervision in regard to the orderly requisition and dispersal of materials and supplies for use by district field units.
Compensation:
- Annual Salary Range: $31,574.40 - $35,529.78
- Hourly Pay Range: $15.18 - $17.08

Minimum Qualifications:
- One year of experience in storekeeping, including receiving, inspecting, cataloging, and storing goods and maintaining inventory records.
- Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency. Transcripts are required for education to be considered.
- Valid Driver’s License at time of appointment.
