The City of Norton is accepting applications for the position of Wastewater/Water Plant Trainee to perform manual work in the operation and maintenance of the water and/or wastewater treatment plants, lift stations, and related facilities. Some experience in operation and minor maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment preferred. Must possess Kansas CDL within 6 months of employment and must obtain a Class II Wastewater Certificate or Class III Water Certificate within 2 years of hire date.   Applications are available at the City Office at 301 E.
