This is a like new in the box custom shop ordered 3rd generation 7 1/2 inch nickel 44-40 with factory stag grips manufactured in 1990. It is my understanding that a nickeled 44-40 caliber saa was never in standard production and was only available through the Colt custom shop and the sticker that says stag would have been applied there also when ordered as order numbers are written over it. This revolver is in like new condition I believe it may have been fired at one time due to a faint turn line on the cylinder but that is my opinion. It would be hard to to find a nicer one with the factory box that was custom shop ordered this would be a great collector piece or shooter in a fun caliber.
