Harlan County Health System is seeking a dependable and team-oriented individual to join our Dietary Department in Alma, Nebraska.

The Dietary Aide assists with food preparation, meal and tray service, dishwashing, sanitation, stocking, and other daily kitchen operations. This position helps ensure patients, employees, and visitors receive quality meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Position Details:

• Full-time position
• Schedule: 
  • Weekday shifts: 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. and 9:15 a.m.–5:45 p.m.
  • Rotating weekend and holidays: 7:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. 3:15 p.m.–5:45 p.m.
• Starting pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour, dependent on experience

What We’re Looking For:

• Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail
• Strong customer-service and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow food-safety and sanitation procedures
• Previous food-service, dietary, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
